How to Download Your Instagram Data

Follow these steps to get your followers & following data from Instagram.

The steps are identical on iOS and Android.

Tap your profile picture in the bottom right to go to your profile.

Tap the three-line menu (☰) in the top right corner.

Tap "Account Center" from the menu.

Tap "Your information and permissions".

Tap "Download your information".

Tap 'Create new export'

Select 'Download to device', then in data settings check ONLY 'Followers and following' (uncheck everything else)

Change format to 'JSON' (not HTML). Set any date range you want. Then tap 'Start export'

Wait for notification, then tap 'Download'

Important: Make sure to select JSON format (not HTML). Our tool only supports JSON files.
